2021 Conference

The 2021 ANZRSAI Conference is planned to be held at RMIT University in Melbourne over two days, 6-7 December.

It will be a hybrid conference, with opportunities for physical or on-line presence. There will be two Best Paper Awards at the conference, sponsored by the Department of Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development and Communication. The first award is for the Best Paper presented at the conference. The second award is for the Best Paper presented by a Student. There is a small cash grant given to the winners.

2020 Conference

The 2020 ANZRSAI Conference was cancelled as part of the COVID-19 virus public health response.

 

2019 Conference

The 2019 ANZRSAI Conference was held in Cairns, December 4th-6th, with a theme of Working Together to Grow: Innovations and Disruptions in Regional Development. The Refereed Proceedings for the conference are now available.

  

2018 Conference

The 2018 ANZRSAI Conference was held in Canberra, December 5th-7th, with a theme of Regional Development: Policy, Research and Engagement. The Refereed Proceedings for the conference are now available. 

 

2017 Conference

The 2017 ANZRSAI Conference was held in Toowoomba December 6th-8th, with a theme of Fostering Regional Resilience, Engagement and Innovation. The Refereed Proceedings for the conference are now available.

 

2016 Conference

The 2016 ANZRSAI Conference was held in Melbourne December 5th-7th, with a theme of Towards the Future: Emerging Priorities in Regional Policy and Practice. The Refereed Proceedings for the conference are now available.

 

2015 Conference

The 2015 ANZRSAI Conference was held in Sydney December 1st-4th, with a theme of Global Cities and Global Regions: Sustainable Futures? The Refereed Proceedings for the conference are now available.

 

2014 Conference

Our 2014 ANZRSAI conference was hosted in Christchurch, New Zealand, December 1st-4th, with a theme of Regions in Recovery: Research, Practice and Policy. The Refereed Proceedings for the conference are now available.
